Xel-Ha, Cancun, Mexico

Xel-Ha is the largest open sea aquarium in the world with 22 acres (8.9 hectares) of lagoons and cenotes for snorkeling. There is wide variety of land and water activities and ecological attractions in Xel-Ha and it's now the most well-known snorkel site in Mexico.

The Natural Wonder is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts who can keep busy with Sea Trek, dolphin swims, kayaking, the floating bridge, and the "Cliffs of Courage." More daring visitors will want to try "Trepachanga" where crossing the rope-joined platforms is a feat of balance and strength to avoid plunging into the water below.

Another unique attraction in Xel-Ha is the "Path of Consciousness." Located within the city's roads, this path aims to make visitors conscious of their respect for nature through a selection of reflections by authors inspired by nature's beauty. The Eco-attitude of Xel-Ha makes it a great spot to experience the natural beauty of Mexico's Riveria Maya region.
